Here is a list of potential employment opportunities at ITW Drawform:

Production Toolmakers
If you have a proven background in the development, set-up and maintenance of progressive, transfer and eyelet presses, we’d like to hear from you. We’re particularly interested in individuals with experience in the areas of prototyping and developing new products, who have the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot production issues, coupled with the creativity and ability to arrive at solutions. We work in a fast paced, team atmosphere producing high volume, tightly toleranced, safety related components for the automotive industry. Journeyman status or equivalent experience required.

Die Setters / Setup & Repair
This position requires the ability to perform job set-ups, tool maintenance and minor press equipment maintenance. Preferred qualifications include experience in the metal industry, solid mechanical skills, blueprint reading and problem-solving capabilities.

Tool Room Machinists and Toolmakers
Candidates considered for this critical role must be experienced on conventional tool room equipment, CNC equipment and/or EDMs. You must possess an ability to perform machining operations from a variety of sources — including blueprints, detailed specifications, or duplicate parts. Journeyman status is preferred.

General Production
Numerous opportunities are frequently available for qualified candidates on all shifts in the areas of Press Operation, Assembly Machine Operation, Packing, Inspection, and Material Handling. An ability to lift 40 to 60 pounds and the ability to perform basic mathematical functions is critical. Candidates should also possess a consistent, verifiable work history and solid attendance record. Previous experience with machine operation and gauging instruments, SPC and reading blueprints is a plus. A high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, is required.

Tool Designer/Detailer
The primary responsibility of this area is the design and detail of tool layouts for our deep drawn metal forming operations. Additional responsibilities will include: preparing conceptual drawings for design review, assisting in the quoting process to provide engineering estimates, and assisting in the implementation of tooling and manufacturing cost savings. A background in either transfer, progressive die or ICOP/eyelet metal stamping is preferred, with a working knowledge of both 2D and 3D CAD Systems essential. We utilize SolidWorks, so a strong working knowledge of this system is a definite plus. The successful candidate should possess an Associates Degree in Tool Design plus several years of design experience, or a similar combination of education and experience.
