Production Toolmakers
If you have a proven background in the development,
set-up and maintenance of progressive, transfer and
eyelet presses, we’d like to hear from you. We’re
particularly interested in individuals with experience
in the areas of prototyping and developing new products,
who have the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot production
issues, coupled with the creativity and ability to arrive
at solutions. We work in a fast paced, team atmosphere
producing high volume, tightly toleranced, safety related
components for the automotive industry. Journeyman status
or equivalent experience required.
Die Setters / Setup & Repair
This position requires the ability to perform job set-ups,
tool maintenance and minor press equipment maintenance.
Preferred qualifications include experience in the metal
industry, solid mechanical skills, blueprint reading
and problem-solving capabilities.
Tool Room Machinists and Toolmakers
Candidates considered for this critical role must be
experienced on conventional tool room equipment, CNC
equipment and/or EDMs. You must possess an ability to
perform machining operations from a variety of sources — including
blueprints, detailed specifications, or duplicate parts.
Journeyman status is preferred.
General Production
Numerous opportunities are frequently available for qualified candidates
on all shifts in the areas of Press Operation, Assembly
Machine Operation, Packing, Inspection, and Material
Handling. An ability to lift 40 to 60 pounds and the
ability to perform basic mathematical functions is critical.
Candidates should also possess a consistent, verifiable
work history and solid attendance record. Previous experience
with machine operation and gauging instruments, SPC
and reading blueprints is a plus. A high school diploma,
GED or equivalent work experience, is required.
Tool Designer/Detailer
The primary responsibility of this area is the design
and detail of tool layouts for our deep drawn metal
forming operations. Additional responsibilities will
include: preparing conceptual drawings for design review,
assisting in the quoting process to provide engineering
estimates, and assisting in the implementation of tooling
and manufacturing cost savings. A background in either
transfer, progressive die or ICOP/eyelet metal stamping
is preferred, with a working knowledge of both 2D and
3D CAD Systems essential. We utilize SolidWorks, so a
strong working knowledge of this system is a definite
plus. The successful candidate should
possess an Associates Degree in Tool Design plus several
years of design experience, or a similar combination
of education and experience.
